From the SOUTH:
Take the Bronx River Parkway North, about .8 mile north past the Cross County Parkway.
Stay right and follow the two large signs for "Bronx Parkway/White Plains." Avoid the Sprain Parkway to the left. Immediately beside the Sprain, the BRP bears right and there is a quick exit for Paxton Ave. Exit at Paxton Ave. (For quick water, food and gas only: Go left to Palmer Road and take a right at the light. It's all on that block. After shopping, continue on Palmer to the stop sign at the traffic circle and turn right onto Parkway Road...go to the second stop sign at Midland and pick up directions from Midland Avenue below.)
Now in Bronxville, take a right at the Stop sign and follow Paxton one block to the next Stop sign at DeWitt. Go across DeWitt,and one very short block to the Stop sign at Parkway Road. Turn right on Parkway Road and go one long block.
At the end of the block is a Stop sign at Midland Ave. Turn left on Midland, being careful about steady traffic approaching from the right. Cross the bridge, go down the hill through the trees.
Go past lights at Kraft Avenue and then Pondfield Road. See Bronxville School on the left. Continue straight on Midland Avenue. Chambers Field is at the far end of the Bronxville School property on Midland Avenue. Park in school lot or on Midland Avenue. Follow local traffic signs carefully, please.
From the NORTH:
Chose Interstate 87, Sprain Brook Parkway, Bronx River Parkway or Hutchinson Parkway. Hutch is best from coastal towns and eastern Connecticut, Bronx River Parkway is slower but comes directly into Bronxville, Sprain is often BXV resident's choice.
Interstate 87 South: To Tuckahoe Road East. Take Tuckahoe Road east past Shop Rite supermarket, then past McDonalds and at the next light turn right and enter Sprain Brook Parkway South for just a hundred yards or so. Exit immediately at Central Avenue. Follow Sprain Brook directions below from Central Avenue exit.
Sprain Brook Parkway South: To Central Avenue. Exit at Central Ave. At the top of the ramp turn right at the yield sign. Go directly under bridge (Palmer Road). Stay right. Immediately exit Central Avenue at the Palmer Road exit sign. Go right up the small exit ramp for Palmer Road. At top of ramp, turn right onto Palmer Road. Go about 1mile on Palmer Road---you will pass two lights and two Stop signs, the last of which will be the Stop sign at the Bronxville traffic cirlce. (For quick water, food and gas only: Shop on this block of Palmer Road.) Go right at the traffic circle, bearing around the North Fork Bank and continue south on Parkway Road. Go to the second Stop sign, being careful to stay left when Parkway splits right into DeWitt. At the end of Parkway Road is a Stop sign at Midland Ave. Turn left on Midland, being careful about steady traffic approaching from the right. Cross the bridge, go down the hill through the trees.

Hutch South: Follow signs to Cross County Parkway West and George Washington Bridge. Take Cross County West to Exit 6, Bronx River Parkway North. Stay right and follow the two large signs for "Bronx Parkway/White Plains." Avoid the Sprain Parkway to the left. Bronx River Parkway South: Exit at Desmond Avenue, which is the last exit before the Cross County Parkway. Go left on Desmond and one short block to Midland Avenue. Go left on Midland Avenue and immediately cross the parkways and then another bridge over the MTA Harlem Line tracks. Immediately across the bridge, take a right at the hidden driveway and park near the Boy Scout Cabin on Upper Scout Field. For Lower Scout Field, park and walk east across Upper Scout Field toward trees along Bronx River. Cross small foot bridge to Lower Scout.
